Our designers are never not rearranging their spaces to work with the changes in their lifestyles (new job, new dog, new significant other, new wardrobe… The list is endless). Little things warrant a new set of cushions and the big things usually result in a new sofa and we love documenting the whole spectrum. We’ve been watching Orlando transform his LA apartment all summer (here’s his bedroom, office area and dining room) and today we bring you his living room! The changes are subtle but impactful. Check out the method to Orlando’s madness below.

“For the past year my living room has been in a little bit of a post-breakup stupor. When my ex moved out and took his furniture, it left some holes in my decor. So basically for the last year I’ve been putting whatever random furniture I could find in here. Mismatched side tables, a DIY coffee table and out-of-scale lamps made the place look eclectic and welcoming, but also a little junky. So, I brought in my favorite Homepolish designer (me!) to update the space a bit and make it into the adult living room I wanted. In just a matter of minutes I took my living room from FLAB to FAB. Well actually it was probably like thousands of minutes but you get the idea.” -Orlando
