As a designer lives in a home, over time the space becomes more eclectic, more wild, and sometimes just more kooky. Our designer Michelle Gage is a perfect example of that.

In the kitchen and dinette, a blue scheme prevails, reminiscent of the ocean almost. In fact, we take back that “almost.” The wall gallery displays seascapes, ships, and even a vintage rowing oar above a perfectly apportioned dining nook with wire-framed chairs. The backsplash is completed in a fish-scale pattern in various hues with tiles from Mercury Mosaics. Elsewhere in the home, truly wild wallpapers are a signature mark. The entryway is covered with hundreds of flamingos on a blue background, and those same spindly-legged birds reappear in their natural pink in the powder room. We can only imagine where it’ll go from here.
