Commissioned art and hero furnishings bring life into this bright temp apartment and they're easily translated into the new bigger space once Jeffrey moves.

Photographs by Christina Shields

Jeffrey is a minimalist intrigued by color. Matched with our designer Tali, he professed his secret desire for pops of brightness but admitted that he didn’t know where to start. Tali stepped in and added orange (a shade he’s particularly fond of) to the space in small doses. This is a temporary home for Jeffrey (he’s waiting on an uptown space to be completed) so he wanted every purchase to be something easily translatable to a bigger apartment post move.

Commissioned art painted by Jeffrey’s mother (!) and hero furnishings like the gray armchair and the mirror in the living room are practical conversation pieces that make the apartment feel special. Tour the space for Tali’s tips and product details.
