The family of four wanted a beautiful and comfortable upgrade to their Spanish Revival home.

Sara and Mark were kid-free newlyweds when they purchased their beautiful Spanish-style home in the SoCal city of La Habra Heights. Years later, with two children and a pet dog, the couple was ready for a renovation that added space and style to their lives. Sticking with the traditional Spanish Revival architecture of the original home was simple but the furnishings were another story altogether. Homepolish’s West Coast Creative Director Orlando Soria began his process by selecting a few key vintage pieces like a mid-century sofa and a few regency swivel chairs. By adding some contemporary pieces to the mix, the space better reflected the youthful, fresh personalities of Sarah and Mark’s family. Vintage and hand-made accessories add a natural collected feel and altogether the final result is a bright, beautiful and happy home filled with unique objects and uncommon furniture.
