Who

Benedetta A., Homepolish designer

Special midcentury modern pieces add warmth to the muted whites of our designer's beautiful San Francisco two bedroom. Travel collected treasures imbue the home with sentimental value and a total home renovation took this home from brown and drab to bright and airy. Dream home, indeed!

Another Homepolish designer home for the win! Benedetta lives with her husband and their dogs Marlo and Giuno in a beautiful, unique and cozy San Francisco two bedroom. Hailing from Genoa, Italy, Benedetta pulled objects and ideas from her and her husband’s well-traveled personal histories and used smart, simple custom storage solutions to ensure a consistently practical and attractive home design. A muted color palette gives the whole home an airy feeling but warm textures, hints of color and greenery keep it from feeling sterile. A mix of midcentury and modern furnishings and custom concrete tiles showcase her excellent taste! Click through the slideshow to tour the space and read Benedetta’s home styling tips.

Hi Lauren, this is the response right from the designer:
I designed the coffee table myself and had it made in Williamsburg NY by a metal artisan and the chairs I bought on EBay. They are original Arne Norell Safari chairs from the sixties. These can be found on 1st dibs or EBay.

    Best of luck!

Hi Lauren, unfortunately, the designer only remembers that it was Williamsburg, but not the specific designer. Best of luck!

Amazing! Did you help with the bedroom built-ins? Where is the living room credenza from?

Hey Leah, that’s one of our older projects, but we can tell you this. We did help with the built-ins, and the credenza looks like it’s from either West Elm or ModShop. Hope this helps!

Hi Rob, the client actually picked out that plant. (which is why we took so long to respond) It was from a local LA nursery. Perhaps you can show the picture to a florist and he or she could help?
