Infusing different periods and styles, Michele created a space all her in own in this Chelsea loft.

Watching our designers transform client homes is a daily treat but seeing the before and afters of a designer’s own home makeover is rare, so we always get very excited. When Michele moved into her Chelsea loft apartment we were placing office bets as to which style direction she’d head. Would it be colorful blues or calming taupes; beachy vibes or an eclectic palace? Michele has such a wide range of projects in her portfolio that she really could have done one or all of the aforementioned looks. Turns out she kind of did all of them. Working with the raw space, she nipped and tucked, knocked down and built out a truly personalized dream apartment. Raising the ceiling in the master closet gave her a full 12 feet of storage space; a 1000lb crystal chandelier glams up the bedroom; a Milo Baughman sofa with matching chairs (from grandma!); and her choice of metallic, turquoise and Asian-inspired accessories make this home feel unique to the max.
