As creative director Orlando Soria says, "Nature is the best designer." So what better way to add some life to your holiday décor than greenery and wooden accents?

It’s no secret that one of my favorite decorating tricks during the holidays is putting branches all over the place. Like, ALL over the place. (Ok, in moderation. But I love my branches.) Especially for tree-deprived urban dwellers like myself, it’s an easy way to bring nature into your holiday décor. (Especially if, like me, you have an artificial Christmas tree. Sorry, not sorry.) Growing up, we used to just go out to the backyard and snip a few pine branches off one of the many trees near our house. These days, my go-to is the Downtown Los Angeles flower market, where you can find basically any plant, living or snipped. And you know what? The LA flower market is just as magical as my childhood forest, OK?!
Another element I brought into my décor this year is wood. I did this to add warmth to my very minimal/modern apartment, but also because it aligned well with my Scandinavian décor theme. Today I’ll be chatting about how to incorporate greenery and wooden accents into your décor. Follow along in the slideshow!
