A New, Relaxed Office for Lonny
When Lonny moved from New York to San Francisco into the offices of their parent publishing company, Livingly Media, they called on Homepolish (after all, we had collaborated before) to redesign the office into a relaxed Cali vibe. Homepolish's Gracie Turner headed up the design, and AllModern provided most all of the furnishings.

With these beautiful woven side chairs, we're unsure if we'd ever make it past the entry lounge.

Oh, wait but there are cool Acapulco chairs too? Now, we're in a conundrum.

In the main office area, linen-covered corkboards act as a space for workers to pin inspiration. It's almost as inspiring as the employees themselves.

The bar cart was a favorite moment for both Gracie and the staff... we'd say we have to agree.

When Lonny moved from New York to San Francisco to join its parent company Livingly Media, they called in their long-time collaborators (we're talking about ourselves) to design the offices, working closely with AllModern.

We’ll be the first to admit it: Homepolish is not an island. Our designers pull inspiration and information from TONS of outlets whether its social media feeds or established magazines. One of our long-time sources has been Lonny, the digital media outlet. (Full disclosure: we’ve also collaborated with them on multiple initiatives.) So when the Lonny offices moved from New York to join their parent company Livingly Media in San Francisco, it felt like losing a friend to the West Coast. However, to make parting not quite such sweet sorrow, Homepolish designed the new offices, in partnership with AllModern.

Our designer Gracie Turner was on the job to make the space sparkle (and make them always think of their friends at Homepolish). As a primarily design outlet, Lonny wanted a space that would constantly inspire its staff of 30. A custom neon sign backed by vibrant Chasing Paper removable wallpaper greets people as soon as they arrive, and it’s also the first lounge area in the office. There are two actually, lending a comfortable residential vibe to the space. Of course, it’s not all lounging here. Bleached wood workstations surrounded by inspiration boards keep the staff productive. It all feels perfectly coastal for their new home.

Working with Gracie was beyond amazing. She saw our vision through and really understood the vibe we wanted to achieve. She definitely was such a gem to work with and we still keep in touch.
