Obviously we have a soft spot for entrepreneurs like Kellee Khalil that see a need for change and take the lead. Noticing the lack of resources available to people planning weddings, she started Lover.ly and now that it’s the ultimate one-stop-shop for all things wedding, Kellee has turned the lens on her own life and decided that her apartment is a good place to improve. With our designer Casey DeBois and our cofounder Noa Santos, her Financial District one bedroom has been transformed into the soft, luxurious and airy dream space that she always wanted.
Casey brought in lots of texture with rugs, shearlings and pillows but kept the palette simple: gold, gray and white. It’s a modern day, grown up princess pad and it’s pretty perfect. “My building is extremely modern and minimalistic, so I wanted to bring warmth and comfort to my apartment space,” says Kellee, “Making it feel cozy was key!” Tour the space in our slideshow, visit The Everygirl for more details about the design and Kellee’s career path and read our interview with Kellee to hear about her favorite design details.
