Orlando jazzed up this kid's bedroom with gold accents, poppy prints and a chaise lounge.

When I found out my La Habra Heights clients wanted to give their daughter an surprise bedroom makeover, I was stoked to work with them again. They’re an incredible family, and I had so much fun decorating their beautiful Spanish Revival home in the lovely city of La Habra Heights. What, you say? You don’t know where La Habra Heights is? It’s about 40 minutes east of downtown LA. Accessible, but far away enough to be peaceful and quiet. It’s kind of my dream world.
I wanted to give the room some playful movement, so I sourced some gold dot decals on Etsy and plastered them all over the wall. My favorite thing in the room is a glimmering brass bed from CB2. I kept the color palette pretty simple, using gold to unify everything in the room and adding in hints of teal and hot pink. The result is a room that is playful and sophisticated, like the awesome little girl it was designed for.
Love always, Orlando
