Sophisticated, Dallas-based men’s clothing company J. Hilburn needed their two-week pop-up shop to feel as thoughtfully tailored as the customer they dress. The look? Mid-century masculine. The feel? Comfortable but polished. The solution? Homepolish designers Katie and Lorenzo swooped in with a plan to knock their silk dress socks right off.

The amazing duo dedicated the weeks before installation day to detailed prep and planning because they only had 36 hours to install. All of the millwork, casings and custom fixtures were manufactured off-site for a speedy and smooth install. A limited budget and an even tighter time frame meant amping up the creativity and our favorite part was the intricate chandelier made of vintage spools hand-strung from a wire frame. But we weren’t the only seamstress in this workshop. The fab furniture came with the help of the vintage experts at Krrb and Furnish Green, while the full-featured experience, from swanky water to man-jerky, was made possible by the lovely ladies of Lionesque Group. All in all, the gentlemen of J.Hilburn threw quite the soiree and Soho was left a little more polished.
