Homepolish's Leah Ring and Jennifer Wallenstein

When we heard about Homepolish LA's Leah Ring and Jennifer Wallenstein and their weekly "crafternoons," we knew we wanted in. First DIY on the list: handmade planter boxes.

Jennifer and I are both huge fans of DIY projects, and we started getting together on Sundays for what we have deemed #crafternoons, an afternoon of crafting, gabbing, and most likely mimosas (yes, of course, that’s plural). It’s a fun way for everyone to experiment creatively in a non-judgmental environment and walk away with a great craft that can be used in our own homes and potentially applied to future client projects. For this Crafternoon, we decided to tackle DIY planter boxes, because we both feel like you can never have enough plants. This project can be completed by anyone who has some basic tools at home, and the final product can be used indoors or outdoors, for any kind of plant that fits your design style.

Follow along in the slideshow for the step-by-step. Mimosas are optional, but highly encouraged to embrace the crafty vibe. Enjoy!
