Kelly's personal PR pad

Wake up in your dream home.

"We filled the room with things we loved."

Working from home can be a chore, but with an uncluttered, sophisticated and functional space, it's an absolute delight. PR gal Kelly had one simple request for Homepolish designer Nicolette: "everything should be white and bright." This bedroom-turned-home-office space was already blessed with the beauty of plentiful natural light. Keeping the palette white and the room full of light only felt right.

Nicolette's biggest challenge? To effectively and attractively store Kelly's extensive cosmetic collection and large stacks of magazines. Nicolette incorporated a rolling system to wheel the cosmetics in and out, and arranged Kelly's magazines to both show them off and keep them organized. With a few stacks here and a few stacks there, Nicolette gave the shelves breathing room by interspersing various, pretty items in between. Such a simple color palette could get dull, but Nicolette cozied up the place with earthy touches, like the wooden bookcases and side tables, potted plant and vibrant orchid. The subtle vintage touches instilled a calm vibe, ideal for this working woman.

Kelly ended up with a space that was both fresh and functional. And who ever said you can't mix business with pleasure? They've clearly never met us.
