Get to know Jesse
Jesse has spent the last 14 years designing everything from Tudors, midcentury homes, beach houses, bungalows and pied-à-terres, and throughout that time, he has learned to enjoy working with his clientele to determine what is best suited for them and their families, learning their quirks and style. He has become adept at counseling his clients and helping them focus on what they really want and need for their homes, functionally and decoratively. After all, he believes that everyone is entitled to have a home that uplifts and nurtures their lives. With every project, he brings an admiration of classic and modern forms and appreciation of unique decorative objects.
Jesse resides in New York City and Bucks County, PA, where he has repurposed an old farmhouse into his country getaway. When he's not designing homes, he can be found antique shopping, sourcing flea market finds, and creating pottery at the wheel.
How I can help you
I love everything Jesse and I have done together and would never have been able to do this on my own. It’s been like true ‘retail therapy’ – Jesse has given me permission to acquire nice things and I feel like I deserved to upgrade my space. Jesse is amazing and his communication style has been perfect for me. He has this invaluable ability to notice when I am reaching design overload and is able to help me prioritize decisions in a manner that I don’t feel rushed or pressured. Now I am so spoiled, I can’t make a move without him!

What clients say
The communication has been very good and I have enjoyed my designer, Jesse. He listened and plans to come up with some options for us to consider.
We highly recommend the professional interior design services of Jesse Turek. We met Jesse in December of 2014 through Homepolish. During our complimentary consultation, we told Jesse about our project: a 3 Bed/3.5 Bathroom apartment still under construction in a new Tribeca building - a blank slate with respect to any interesting embellishments and decor. We told him about our simple modern/organic taste, our priority to create a wonderful home for our 7-year-old son, our interest in maximizing every cubic inch of our apartment with beautiful but practical solutions and our budget. While not ideal for any designer, Jesse had no problem approaching our design project in stages so we could stick to a budget.
Jesse was the creative mind behind the design of our apartment and handled all coordination with all tradespeople, building administrators (COIs) and vendors. Our project was complex — and the fact that it was in a brand new building still ironing out operational kinks only made it more complicated.
Despite the fact that our project was in a newly constructed apartment, we decided to add a considerable amount of embellishments, including the creation of a large wall of custom cabinetry (with added refrigeration) in our living room, elaborate built-ins in two bedrooms, a perfect custom built-in in our foyer and the installation of a HearthCabinet fireplace that really makes our apartment a home.
Jesse also has a gift with digitally rendering spaces so clients can truly visualize a room before they commit. During our first meeting, I described for Jesse what I envisioned for our son’s room — interesting floor to ceiling built-in storage surrounding his bed with bright red rolling ladders and whatever else was required (within budget) to create a great space…two days later, Jesse emailed us a digital rendering that was EXACTLY what we were dreaming of.
In addition to all of Jesse’s creative design talent, you will never have a problem with punctuality, communication, organization, professionalism and reliability — he excels in all of those areas
