Get to know Diane
What is not there is as important as what is. This is Diane's philosophy that emphasizes the importance of design intent and simplicity. Her forte is composition, finding balance between space and belongings after considering function and aesthetic. Her editorial approach results in smart, uncontrived interiors with a mix of materials, shapes, and decorative styles that bond brilliantly. With contagious enthusiasm for all things design, she continually studies product, lifestyle, and culture to spot the next trend... or avoid it.
She honed these abilities while working for a modern design studio, developing a keen design sensibility and knowledge of interiors resources. After her formalized experience, she struck out on her own in Atlanta. She has since become rooted in the community as a Modern Atlanta insider and board member of the Design Collective.
Before flipping spaces, Diane flipped athletes as a nationally accredited USA Gymnastics coach. The transition was natural since design and sport share the key components of technical execution, creative direction, and attention to detail. She has elite standards... and yes, she can somersault.
What clients say
Diane was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was professional, kind, and knowledgeable. She helped me prioritize what I needed to accomplish in a short period of time and made sure we used our time together wisely and efficiently. At the end of our design time, I felt confident that I had the tools and resources available to pull my whole space together. In the process of helping me design my space, she also explained the reasoning behind each decision, so I felt like I also learned quite a bit about design through working with Diane. Without hesitation, I had a great Homepolish experience and would highly recommend Diane.
We really enjoyed working with Diane, but not only in respect to designing our home. She provided us with so much information about space planning and decorating. We never decorated our home before, but with the help of Diane, it's all like a dream coming true for us.
